How to Calculate UNILAG Post UTME Aggregate Score

If you’ve checked your Post-UTME result and want to calculate your aggregate score to see your chances of getting admitted, follow these steps:

UNILAG calculates the aggregate score using three main components:

  1. O’Level Results
    • Your grades in five core subjects are important. These include subjects relevant to your course.
  2. JAMB Score
    • Your JAMB score is also considered.
  3. Post-UTME Score
    • Your performance in the Post-UTME screening exam contributes to your aggregate score.

To calculate the final aggregate:

  • Divide your JAMB score by 8.
  • Divide your Post-UTME score by 2.
  • Add these two values to your O’Level points (calculated based on your grades).

Example Calculation

  • JAMB Score: 240
    • 240 ÷ 8 = 30
  • Post-UTME Score: 60
    • 60 ÷ 2 = 30
  • O’Level Points: Let’s assume 18 points based on grades.

Aggregate Score = 30 (JAMB) + 30 (Post-UTME) + 18 (O’Level) = 78.

Your aggregate score will determine if you meet the cut-off mark for your course. Good luck!

What you Must Know

  1. Maximum Aggregate Score: The highest possible aggregate score is 100. Ensure you calculate correctly and aim high to increase your chances of admission.
